NBA Postseason (May 1-31)
The Oklahoma City Thunder were the first team to close out their opponent in the first round of the NBA playoffs, sweeping the Memphis Grizzlies, and they’ll continue their quest for a championship as the league’s four second-round series hit the hardwood in the early days of May. Those sets will be followed by the Eastern Finals and Western Finals, with the NBA Finals scheduled to wrap up by the end of June.
NHL Postseason (May 1-31)
The National Hockey League will continue winding its way toward the awarding of the Stanley Cup with its eight first-round series coming to an end and its four second-round series getting underway in May. MLB Regular Season (May 1-31)
The Detroit Tigers have raced out to a top record in the American League heading into May, and they’ll begin the month with a four-game series against the Angels in Los Angeles.
